The team minus 2 - model danielle & my assistant zarah from my lookbook shoot today. What a crazy day…2 models, 14 looks and 14 different setups in 10 hours or so. That’s probably why I look so serious/tired in the photo. Cause damnnnn am I tiredddddd!

SKYPE Session Turned Editorial?
With the recent editorial by Steven Meisel in Vogue Italia and his “twitter” inspired story (can be viewed here & here, Australian photographer Darren McDonald takes the medium to another level by producing a sexy-time shoot of a Skype conversation between him and model Caitlin Lomax.
This can’t be the future of photography…or is it? With this alternative to high-production beauty shots, this low-budget series feel personal, intimate and probably required little or no retouching. The concept is not strange, the porn industry, but applying it to high-fashion has resulted in very interesting results.
You probably would never see this in a print issue due to the low quality & I could just see Anna Wintour & pub’s freaking out. But I do not believe this will not replace photography but rather a new idea and approach to a digital age. I can only wonder where this can be taken…
